Abandoned Order Feature
How it works:
At the point where the customer closes the browser/order, we will trigger a window a certain percentage of the time that asks them not to leave. To incentivize them, the offer includes a 15% discount only on the product for that order. You can also setup customized and specific offers for one, all, or some of your products at a different discount %. The system also allows you to designate the % of time you want the abandon order offer to appear.
The Default setup:
With the Abandoned Order Funtionality the system automatically has an offer created that can be enabled. It has the default offer of 15% off if the customer does not abandon, and occurs on all products. If enabled, then you will automatically start saving abandoned sales.
How to customize your Abandoned Cart Offer:
You can create customized Abandoned Cart Offers within your Offer Manager
You can also customize your Abandoned Cart Offer within your Offer Manager . Open your Offer Manager and click the Create button to create your new offer through the setup wizard. You can change the discount amount that is offered to the customer as well as change the frequency that the offer appears when an order is abandoned. You can set the offer to apply to all of your products or to a specific list of products to apply this offer to.
