Q: Can my site be certified if I use the RegNow Affiliate Check Script?

A: The RegNow Affiliate Check Script was created to try and assist vendors in satisfying affiliates if they had multiple buy paths on their website. While the check script works, we cannot guarantee that it has been applied properly and consistently by vendors. Therefore we cannot use the checkscript as a means of certification.

Q: A vendor is using affiliate ids on their website, is this allowed?

A: No. If an affiliate id is included in a buy url, that affiliate id will override any cookie on the users machine. The only time an affiliate id can be present on a certified site is if it is a clear advertisement of a third party product. Even then the website will be scrutinized to see whether certification should be given and may still be declined.
