The software allows users (1) to digitally sign and encrypt their emails and files to ensure confidentiality and authenticity, (2) to create and extract PKI or password protected archives, (3) to securely wipe files and clean the free space of disk drives.
Many email clients, including web-based emails, are supported. RTF and HTML formats are supported as well to allow rich contents in encrypted emails.
Wizards are used to help users create their own X.509 digital certificates, import/export certificates and private keys and view the content of certificates. Users can decide how to trust certificates. All these features are available from one software component - the Certificate Manager.
A secure text editor called Personal Information Editor is also provided to allow users record their sensitive information, such passwords, contact information, etc. in a secure manner.
