Order Information

What is my order status?

Please visit our customer order lookup page to find information on orders you have placed with RegNow.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged the same day your purchase has been placed.

How will the charge appear on my credit card?

The charge will appear on your credit card as the name of the product you have purchased.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

We are able to process tax-free orders only if we receive proof of tax exemption prior to the order placement taking place. We are unable to apply the tax exemption to an existing order. If the order has already been processed, a request for a refund on the existing order will need to be submitted to the vendor and a new order will need to be placed.

To process a tax-free order, please fax or mail in a copy of your tax-exempt certificate to our order center along with all the order details including payment information. Please be sure to include your email address on the fax cover sheet or within the mailed information:

What address should I enter in the billing information screen?

For credit card verification, you must enter the address exactly as it appears on your credit card statement. You do not need to enter a middle name or initial.

How do I enter a shipping address?

If you ordered a physical product, select the option indicating your shipping address is different from your billing address. This will display the recipient information fields where you can enter your shipping address.

Should I put spaces or dashes in the credit card number?

No. Your card number should be entered in as a continuous string of numbers.

Why are you not accepting my credit card?

There are many reasons for a failed credit card transaction. Your card may have expired or reached its limit or a credit card computer, either on our end or your bank's end, may have encountered a machine error. If you do have problems, you can contact Customer Service. Please provide them any email messages you may have received, as well as the order number from the shopping cart or Order Confirmation Page.

Is purchasing from RegNow a one-time fee, a monthly fee, or a yearly fee?

In general, most products are a one time fee. However, for each product the order process may vary and is subject to change at anytime. For detailed information about product pricing, please contact the author of the product directly for the accurate information. Please review the help file of the product, the website where the product was originally downloaded, or where you first heard about the product, to find the correct support contact information.

What will this product cost me in my local currency?

RegNow processes transactions in USD, EUR, and GBP. We recommend that, if you do not use one of these three currencies, you use an online currency converter to find out the approximate cost in your local currency. What do I do if I closed my browser before printing the invoice?

You will receive the receipt you saw online in your email shortly after your order. It may take up to 30 minutes or more depending on your ISP's mail servers. Please keep this email for your records!

Will I receive a disk/CD after my order?

Please review the software company's website for these details in addition to the web based ordering pages. RegNow delivers 98% of the products sold in electronic form only. If there is a shipping option available it will be denoted on the ordering pages. If there is no mention of the opportunity to receive a disk/CD, you may expect to receive the product electronically.

How do I contact Customer Service?

When you contact customer service, first determine whether you need support for ordering or downloading software, installing and using it. If you need assistance downloading, installing or using the software, please contact the software company directly. If you require order assistance, please contact us about your order by using our online contact form.

Who am I buying the software from?

You are purchasing the software from RegNow, and we specialize in providing quick and easy electronic transactions. For all the products listed on this site, we act as a payment gateway for the software vendors that make the respective products.

Can I order and not use a credit card? I would prefer to pay by check, wire, or PO.

RegNow does offer ordering options in addition to payment online with a credit card. The offline ordering options we offer include payment by phone (via credit card), mail, fax, wire, and PO (if applicable). Please note that utilizing one of these offline ordering options, you will be required to pay an additional processing fee.

To place an order by mail, fax, wire, and PO (when applicable), use the online form and then choose one of these payment options found in the Payment Method section of the form. Once submitted online, the appropriate information will be provided to you in your web browser to send your payment to us offline.

Shipping Information

I live outside the US. Do I have to pay customs fees?

If you live outside the United States, custom and tariff fees may apply according to your country's import laws. These fees are not collected by this company, and this company does not have control of these fees.

Can I change my shipping address?

Unfortunately, you can not change your shipping address after your order has been submitted. The order is immediately sent to the fulfillment agency and can no longer be changed by our system. If your package is not successfully delivered, it will be returned to the warehouse.

Technical Support

I require some help installing and/or getting the program to function correctly. Can you help me?

RegNow is the ordering center. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide technical help, because we process orders for tens of thousands of products. The software company that owns the product will be able to provide you the technical support that you need. To find their support email, you can look in a few places:

  1. Review your emailed order receipt; it is located within that email.
  2. Check within the help file and/or readme.txt file associated with the download. The support contact information is usually provided within the program for your convenience.
  3. Visit the place where you downloaded/ordered the product. The support contact information will be on the software company's web site.
  4. If you placed your order using a credit card, please visit the Order Status Page to pull up your order details.

Why do I need to accept cookies?

Cookies are placed on your browser for your convenience, and the Commerce System used is cookie dependent. When you place an order, information is written onto your hard drive. The next time you place an order, the system recognizes who you are and automatically enters your information into the form.

Because cookies read information on your hard drive, some think this means they give access to all the information on your computer. Our commerce system encrypts all cookies and they cannot be read by any other web page. The cookie actually contains no personal information, just a unique identifier for our system to recognize this browser.

How do I set up my browser to accept cookies?

If you're using Internet Explorer 6+, go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options. Within the Internet Options window, select the Privacy tab. The default browser setting is medium, which allows you to accept cookies. To change this setting, move the slider to determine which setting you prefer. If your setting has been set to Custom, click the Advanced button and choose Accept Cookies.

If you're using Internet Explorer 5.x, go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options. Within the Internet Options window, select the Security tab. Select Internet, then Custom Level. Scroll down to Cookies and choose Enable. If you're using Netscape 7+, go to the Edit menu and select Preferences. Double-click the Privacy & Security category, select Cookies. Set your Cookies preferences.

Download Information

How do I download?

You can download by clicking the 'click here' or begin HTTP download' button on your order information page You can also use the link in your confirmation email.

Where do I download the file?
You can download the file anywhere you like, just make sure that you remember the location where you saved it, and the name of the file. If you choose Desktop, this will be easier for you to install the product once you have completed the download.

What will happen when I download?
Once the download starts, you will see a box pop up with a status bar, and a percentage that will climb to 100%.

What happens after I download?
After the download has completed, you will need to go to the location that you saved the file and double click on the new icon to start the installation. Contact the vendor's Technical Support if you require any assistance.

I lost my registration information. What do I do?

Most registration information is available in your order confirmation email. If you are not able to locate this email, please submit a request to us, with the Order ID and/or email address that was used in placing the order. We will work with you to locate the order in our database, and resend any applicable registration information.

How do I re-download software that I have already purchased?

To re-download software you have already purchased, locate your download link in your order confirmation email. If you purchased a registration key for software, the download will be found at the vendor's site. If you are not sure what site the software originates from, please use the order lookup page to locate specific site and contact information for the vendor.

What if the download stops before it is complete?

Once a download has been interrupted, you will need to redownload the file in its entirety prior to installing your product.

What if I want a shipment, but I've already ordered the download?

Unfortunately, we are unable to exchange a downloadable product for a physical product that you have already purchased. Please place a separate order for the physical product.

I have finished downloading where do I find it?

The best way to know where your download saved is to pay close attention to the "Save As" window at the beginning of the download process. Once you have clicked the download button and selected the option to save the file, you will be given the "Save As" window, which shows you exactly where your download is being saved to on your computer.

If you know the filename, you can do a search on your computer for it.

Do not rename the file you're downloading, it may cause installation problems.

Why do I need to "register" the free download?

Free downloads are provided by software companies for you to try a product before you purchase. These products will have limiting features, such as limited days of free use, allowing you to evaluate the software prior to purchasing it.

These are marketing techniques that are widely used with software companies that utilize the web for distribution, and provide you as a consumer, an advantage. This allows you to know exactly what you are buying, when you purchase the registered version of the program.

I need to download my product again and my download URL is expired. What do I do?

Please contact us. Once we receive your request, we will review the order and contact you.

I have purchased the Extended Download Service, but my download URL is still expired.

When you need to download again, please contact us and we will reset the expiration date for the URL.

I used a credit card to place my order, and want to go back to the download link. Where do I go?

Downloadable products are delivered in one of two ways:

  1. If you were provided with a download link after placing an order, you will be able to find the download by visiting the Order Status Page. On this page you will need to click on the product name. On the next page under delivery information, there will be a link to the download.
  2. If you downloaded the trial version of the software before registering the software, you will need to download the trial version again. Please visit the software company's webpage to do this.

Returns and Cancellations

How can I cancel an order?

Due to the automated way that orders are processed and fulfilled, once an order is processed, it cannot be cancelled. If you would like to request a refund, see below.

What is your Refund Policy?

Each software company offering products through our service has their own return/refund policy. We support all return/refund policies of the software companies that we process orders for. You will need to contact the software company directly (their email address is in the emailed order confirmation) to inquire about their return/refund policy and process.

If you do not have the order confirmation, please contact us. We will be happy to provide you with the software company's contact email address and forward your request.

I received a refund for a product purchased through RegNow, but I don't see the credit. Why?

Once the refund has been processed, it will take about seven to ten business days for the credit to appear on your account. If the credit does not appear, please contact your credit card company, and ask where they have posted the credit information. In many cases, banks will post information later than expected.
